I think of a minister as a Dr. of Souls, Who listens to the agonies of men, Who sermonizes for the joy of comforting And lessens the pain with-in. Prescribing a simple prescription, That will ease the daily fray, Strength, for the pitfalls of tomorrow And new hope for the problems today. Not easy, would be such a mission, Words put forth and searching wrought, Could easily fall by the wayside If no man was improved by the thought! |
