Seasons of Life by Audrey Cofield

Curved Corner

The Master's Mix

In a world of hurly burly
     Amid insatiable strife,
Men search and ever labor
     For a better, richer life.

Introverts and extroverts
     All mingle in the fray,
The reticent by nature
     Absorb what free-tongued say.

The travelers and the home folks
Each, deem their way is right,
While spendthrifts scoff amusedly
     At frugal men, as "tight."

It's a hodge podge of humanity,
With no pattern cut quite true,
All the battling life's adversities
     Until the journey is through.
