Seasons of Life by Audrey Cofield

Curved Corner

To The Old At Heart

So you don't like Christmas,
Has something slipped in your heart?
Why would you want to escape it
When you are alive and can take a part?
Why do you think, in terms of yourself,
     Resent present in despair,
Fret about the things you get
When there is happiness every where?
Get down on the floor on Christmas night
     Put thoughts of yourself aside,
Your are sure to capture a feeling cheer
From the young and the starry-eyed!
